Foreign Tourist Highlights Cleanliness Issues at Taj Mahal
Concerns Raised Over Taj Mahal's Surroundings
Agra. The Taj Mahal, often referred to as a symbol of love, has once again come under scrutiny due to cleanliness issues. A video recorded by a foreign tourist visiting India has sparked significant attention and raised several questions. As the video circulated online, it created quite a stir.
The tourist, Lisipriya, filmed her experience upon arriving at the Taj Mahal, where she expressed her disgust at the sight of litter. Although the exact timing of the video remains unverified, it has drawn considerable public interest.
In the footage, Lisipriya visits the area near the Taj Mahal and the adjacent Yamuna River at Dashahara Ghat, where she comments on the stark contrast between the monument's beauty and the surrounding filth. Her reaction was so strong that she felt nauseated upon witnessing the litter.
The Yamuna River, which flows beside the Taj Mahal, is unfortunately affected by sewage and waste, contributing to the unsightly conditions. Lisipriya's video illustrates how pollution is increasingly impacting the river's cleanliness, which is visible around the Taj Mahal.
This isn't the first instance of a foreign tourist capturing the unsanitary conditions near the Taj Mahal. Previously, visitors have also documented similar issues, highlighting the ongoing concern regarding cleanliness in this iconic location.
