However, the toss has been postponed because of heavy fog covering the ground, as reported by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Currently, India leads the series 2-1.
Axar Patel Excluded, Shahbaz Ahmed Steps In
In a recent update, Indian all-rounder Axar Patel has been ruled out of the remaining two T20I matches against South Africa due to health issues, according to a statement from the BCCI on Monday. The board confirmed that Patel will remain with the team in Lucknow for further medical evaluation. Shahbaz Ahmed has been named as his replacement for the upcoming matches in Lucknow and Ahmedabad.

The concluding T20I match between India and South Africa is scheduled to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on December 19.
