Fire Erupts in Abdulllapur Village Kitchen

A significant fire broke out in a household kitchen in Abdulllapur village, Kangra, on Sunday morning, triggered by a cooking gas cylinder. The incident occurred while a woman was preparing a meal, and she narrowly avoided serious injury, suffering only minor burns to her hands and feet.

The flames rapidly spread, leading to the destruction of the kitchen chimney, geyser, and various household items. Firefighters arrived promptly and were able to extinguish the blaze before it could escalate further.

Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra, the APMC District President and State Congress OBC Department President, visited the scene after hearing about the fire. He assured the affected family of comprehensive support and stated that compensation would be facilitated through governmental and departmental processes once the official report is finalized.

Accompanying Mongra were Panchayat Pradhan Sanjay Kancha and Block Congress Committee President Nageshwar Mankotia. Mongra expressed his commitment to ensuring that the family receives timely assistance to help them recover from this unfortunate incident.
