Fire Erupts in Midvale, Visible from Interstate 15
Fire Incident Near Main Street
A significant fire has ignited close to Main Street in Midvale, with thick black smoke seen from Interstate 15, as reported by local officials. The Unified Police Department indicated that the blaze is located near 700 West Main Street. As emergency responders arrive, roads surrounding 3rd Avenue and Main Street have been shut down.
The origin of the fire remains unclear, and authorities have yet to confirm if firefighting efforts are currently in progress. Images released by the Utah Department of Transportation depict a substantial column of black smoke rising from the vicinity, clearly visible from I-15.
