Incident Overview

A fire broke out on the third floor of the Pant Agriculture Building in Jaipur on Monday morning, causing a scene of chaos. Officials reported that the fire brigade managed to control the flames, and fortunately, there was no significant damage.


Gautam Lal, the chief fire officer, indicated that the blaze originated in a closed room due to a short circuit in a heater. Upon noticing flames and thick smoke emanating from the room, staff and officials present in the building evacuated as a precautionary measure.


Firefighting Efforts

Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters broke the windows on the third floor to extinguish the fire. The flames were successfully brought under control, although several items, including furniture and other office supplies, were destroyed in the incident.
