Fire Incident in Bhud Vihar

In the early hours of Saturday, a fire erupted in a pile of garbage in Bhud Vihar Phase Two, which quickly spread to several nearby slums. An official from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) provided this information.


The official reported that they received the fire alert around 3:30 AM on 'Sunday Market' Road.


Upon receiving the report, four fire engines were dispatched to the scene. Initially, the flames were confined to the waste, but they rapidly extended to 10 to 12 adjacent slums.


By 5:30 AM, the fire was completely extinguished, and fortunately, there were no reports of injuries.


Previous Fire Incident in Shahdara

Earlier this week, a fire at an e-rickshaw charging station on Moti Ram Road in the Shahdara area of the national capital resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left four others injured. The fire department received the alert about the blaze at the charging station on Sunday morning.


Fire engines were promptly dispatched to the site. Two charred bodies were recovered from the scene, and four injured individuals were transported to GTB Hospital. The charging station, which was constructed under a tin shed covering approximately 400 square yards, was completely destroyed.
