Fire Breaks Out at Sohna Farmhouse in Gurugram, Two Injured
Incident Overview
A severe fire erupted at a farmhouse in Sohna, Gurugram, Haryana, on Wednesday, injuring two workers. Officials reported that during the blaze, a family was trapped inside but was rescued with the assistance of local residents.
Fire Department Response
The fire department received alerts about the incident at around 4 AM, concerning the Bhim Bagh Vatika and the farmhouse. A fire officer stated that a team from the Sohna fire station arrived promptly to assess the situation. Following their evaluation, additional fire engines were summoned from Sector-29 and Sector-37. After approximately two hours of effort, the fire was brought under control with the help of four fire trucks.
Injuries and Damage
Two employees, Zakir and Amir, both residents of Delhi, suffered burns and were admitted to the civil hospital in Gurugram for treatment. Officials noted that the tin shed of the farmhouse was completely destroyed by the flames. Devendra Kumar, the deputy fire officer from the Sohna fire station, confirmed that the trapped family was safely evacuated, preventing a major disaster.

As of now, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
