Incident at the Military Store

A fire erupted on Friday at a storage facility within a military camp located in Jyotirmath, Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, as reported by a police official. D.S. Rawat, the officer in charge of Jyotirmath police station, indicated that the blaze consumed scrap materials stored inside the facility on Auli Road. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported from the incident.

According to Rawat, the fire broke out around 2 PM and quickly spread, posing a threat to nearby buildings and populated areas. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, firefighters acted swiftly and collaborated with military personnel to manage the crisis.
