Fire Incident at Al-Madinah Prayer Hall


Emergency responders have been deployed to tackle a fire that erupted at the Al-Madinah Prayer Hall located on Talbot Street in Dublin's city centre. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, prompting firefighters to work diligently to control the flames. According to Dublin Fire Brigade, multiple emergency calls were received shortly after 3:40 PM local time, leading to the dispatch of four fire engines and over 20 personnel to the scene.


A spokesperson for the fire brigade reported that smoke was seen coming from the building, necessitating a complete evacuation of the area. Firefighting efforts are currently underway.



Authorities, including Gardaí and ESB Networks, were also present at the scene, and traffic restrictions were implemented on Talbot Street. The fire brigade indicated that the cause of the fire will be investigated by the Gardaí.
