Family of Murder Victim Seeks Justice in Himachal Pradesh

In the ongoing investigation of the Siya Guleria murder case from Nain village in Sarkaghat, the victim's relatives approached the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Kavinder Gupta, to advocate for swift and fair justice. They were joined by Atul Thakur, the State Spokesperson for BYJM Himachal Pradesh, who articulated their concerns to the Governor.
The family voiced their frustration regarding the slow progress of the investigation and made several requests:
- Formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT)
- Quick proceedings through a Fast-Track Court
- Provision of the financial assistance that was reportedly promised
- Addressing the alleged lapses in the handling of the case
The Governor reassured the family of his support and indicated that the issue would be escalated appropriately.
Atul Thakur commented on the situation, stating:
“This is not merely about a case—it is about a family’s pursuit of justice. We will continue to stand with the family and extend every possible support until the matter reaches its rightful conclusion through due process.”
The family remains hopeful that this meeting will expedite the legal proceedings and help secure justice.
