The preparations for the much-anticipated State-Level Holi Festival 2026 in Palampur are in full swing. During a recent press conference, Dr. O.P. Yadav, the SDM of Palampur and Chairman of the Festival Committee, unveiled the comprehensive schedule for the event.


Kickoff Details
The festival is set to begin on March 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM, featuring a spectacular Shobha Yatra, which will be inaugurated by Ashish Butail, the MLA for the Palampur constituency, as the chief guest.

  • March 1, 2026 – Pahari Night:
    Chief Guest: Shri Yadvindra Goma, Minister of AYUSH, Youth Services & Sports
    Star Performers: Vicky Chauhan and Kuldeep Sharma

  • March 2, 2026 – Pahari Night:
    Chief Guest: Bhavani Singh Pathania, Vice Chairman, State Planning Board
    Star Performer: Ishant Bhardwaj
    Side Events: Dog Show, Fancy Dress, Fun Games

  • March 3, 2026 – Bollywood Night:
    Chief Guest: Prof. Chander Kumar, Minister of Agriculture & Animal Husbandry
    Special Guest: Sanjay Singh Chauhan, Chairman, State Cooperative Agriculture & Rural Development Bank Ltd.
    Star Performances: Laman Band, Abhigya Band, Kumar Sahil
    Additional Event: Anti-Drug Run (5.5 km) with prize money of ₹51,000 (1st), ₹21,000 (2nd), and ₹1,100 (3rd), along with certificates for all participants.

  • March 4, 2026 – Punjabi Night & Closing Ceremony:
    Chief Guest: Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh
    Special Guest: Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor, Digital Technology & Innovation
