Exciting News for Brazilian Football Fans: Free FIFA World Cup Streaming on YouTube
Free Streaming Announcement
Brazilian football enthusiasts have received thrilling news from a well-known YouTube channel. CazeTV, a sports media outlet supported by football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed plans to stream the entire FIFA World Cup for free on YouTube in Brazil.
The tournament is set to take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Recently, Ronaldo made a significant investment in a Brazilian sports media firm named 'LiveMode'. This company is collaborating with the popular YouTube channel 'CazeTV' to provide free World Cup coverage in Brazil. Founded in 2022 by Brazilian YouTuber and streamer Casimiro Miguel, CazeTV has partnered with LiveMode to ensure that all 104 matches of the upcoming World Cup will be available in stunning 4K quality. Additionally, they aim to feature behind-the-scenes content, special programs, and interactive sessions to engage younger viewers.
Can Indian Fans Tune In?
Unfortunately, Indian football fans will not have the same opportunity. While viewers in Brazil can enjoy the World Cup for free on YouTube, this broadcast is restricted to Brazil only. CazeTV and LiveMode have acquired the digital rights from FIFA exclusively for the Brazilian market, meaning that even if Indian fans access the channel on YouTube or Twitch, they will not be able to watch the live matches.
Where to Watch the World Cup in India
Currently, there has been no official announcement regarding the World Cup's broadcast in India. However, reports indicate that the 'Zee' Group is close to securing the broadcasting rights. The deal is estimated to be worth between 30 to 35 million US dollars (approximately ₹250-290 crore). Zee is also planning a significant return to sports broadcasting with the launch of four new sports channels under the brand 'Unite8 Sports'. If this deal is finalized, Indian football fans will have the chance to watch the World Cup matches live on Zee's television channels and through its Zee5 OTT platform. The situation became more favorable for Zee Group after the Reliance-Disney partnership reportedly withdrew from the bidding process.
