India's Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has opened up a fantastic opportunity for young job seekers. The company has initiated the application process for 660 Artisan positions starting from October 21. Interested candidates can apply online through the official BHEL website at careers.bhel.in. The deadline for applications is set for November 18, with the examination scheduled for December 11. This recruitment will take place across nine manufacturing units in the country, covering seven trades including fitters, welders, turners, machinists, electricians, electronics mechanics, and foundrymen.

Educational Qualifications Required

To be eligible, candidates must have completed their 10th grade. Additionally, they should possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade along with a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). For detailed qualifications based on each trade, candidates are advised to refer to the official notification.

Age Limit Criteria

Candidates should not exceed the age of 27 years as of October 1, 2026. There will be age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories, and further details can be found in the recruitment advertisement.

Application Fees

For candidates belonging to the Unreserved/EWS/OBC categories, the examination fee is ₹600 plus processing fee of ₹400 and GST, totaling ₹1072. For SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen, the examination fee is waived, with only the processing fee of ₹400 plus GST, amounting to ₹472.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will initially work on a temporary basis for one year at BHEL. During this period, they will receive a monthly salary of ₹24,000. Upon regularization, the salary will range from ₹29,500 to ₹65,000, along with additional allowances and benefits.
