Independence Day Festivities Set for Government Arya Degree College

The upcoming Independence Day celebrations at the Sub-Divisional level are set to take place at the Government Arya Degree College in Nurpur, promising a vibrant atmosphere. This announcement was made by SDM Arun Sharma during a review meeting held today to evaluate the event's preparations.

The ceremony will showcase a spectacular march-past featuring Police, Home Guards, NCC, Scouts & Guides, and NSS units. Additionally, students from local schools will perform lively cultural programs. To ensure everything runs smoothly, all relevant departmental officers have been instructed to finalize their arrangements promptly.

The SDM emphasized the importance of attendance, urging officials and staff from all departments to be present at the event.

Attendees of the meeting included Tehsildar Radhika Saini, BDO Ashok Kumar, PWD SDO Uminder Singh, Electricity SDO Puneet, and SBI Chief Manager Ajay Kumar, along with various departmental officers, employees, and school representatives.
