A Joyful Welcome for Nursery Students

On June 9, 2026, Kids Kingdom Elementary School, part of the Himalayan Public Senior Secondary School in Nagrota Bagwan, organized a lively Fresher Party to greet its new Nursery students. The event was orchestrated by the Junior KG and Senior KG classes, with Coordinator Kavita Gupta serving as the host.


The festivities commenced with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by Director Anurag Gupta and Principal Smt. Sapna Dogra, followed by devotional songs and a welcome performance by the Senior KG-B students. The Nursery children charmed everyone with their fancy dress displays and poetry recitals, showcasing their delightful innocence.


Junior KG students entertained the audience with energetic dances to popular songs such as “Aao Tumhe Chand Par Le Jaayein” and “Maa Dekhi Jab Se Duniya”, while Senior KG groups added to the excitement with their captivating acts. Parents were also informed about important aspects of the National Education Policy (NEP) and National Curriculum Framework (NCF).


Key highlights of the event included:



  • Parv from Nursery-B was crowned Master Fresher, while Swastika earned the title of Miss Fresher.

  • Mitansh (Nursery-A) and Himanshi (Nursery-B) were recognized as Best Rimer.

  • Tejas and Angel (Nursery-B) received the award for Best Attire.


The event wrapped up with a heartfelt qawwali performance featuring the song “Chanda Ne Poocha Taron Se”, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony led by Director Anurag Gupta. He expressed his appreciation to the parents for their ongoing support and reaffirmed the school's dedication to comprehensive child development.
