The day commenced with Vasant Valley School earning the last quarter-final slot in the Boys' category, triumphing over Kendriya Vidyalaya, RK Puram, in a thrilling penalty shootout that ended 4-3 after a goalless draw in regular time. Both teams exhibited high energy and offensive strategies, generating numerous chances but failing to score. The match concluded with Vasant Valley School maintaining composure during the penalty shootout to finalize the quarterfinal lineup.
Girls' Quarterfinals: Semi-Finalists Determined
In the Girls' quarterfinals, Vasant Valley School achieved a narrow 1-0 win against Government Girls Senior Secondary School, NIT Faridabad, with Tanvie Gogoi netting the crucial goal in the 30th minute, ensuring her team's progression to the semi-finals.
