Today, the Annual Sports Competition took place at Government Arya College, Nurpur, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur, who served as the chief guest for the event.


The festivities commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a rendition of Saraswati Vandana. NCC cadets performed a march-past to welcome the chief guest, while senior faculty member Dr. Diljeet Singh greeted the attendees, including teachers, guests, and students.



Dr. Thakur conducted the program and encouraged students to engage in sports, emphasizing their significance for both physical and mental well-being. He pointed out that such activities help build self-confidence, resilience, social connections, and sportsmanship among students.
