Tampering with the Meter

In some cases, fuel pump owners and staff may install an electronic chip in the machine to show a full amount of fuel on the meter while actually providing less fuel to the customer.

Unauthorized Synthetic Oil Filling

At certain petrol stations, customers may unknowingly receive synthetic oil instead of regular fuel. Synthetic oil is typically 5 to 10 percent more expensive than regular oil, leading to higher costs for customers. Always instruct the pump attendant clearly before refueling.
