Dubai: Iranian state television announced on Saturday that two senior generals from the nation's armed forces have been killed due to Israeli airstrikes. The deceased have been identified as Gen. Gholamreza Mehrabi, who served as the deputy for intelligence in the armed forces' general staff, and Gen. Mehdi Rabbani, the deputy for operations.

The report did not specify the exact location of their deaths.

These strikes, which occurred on Friday, resulted in the deaths of several high-ranking officials within Iran's military, including the army's chief of staff and the commander of the paramilitary Revolutionary Guard.
