Iran's Missile Assault on Haifa

Israel-Iran Conflict: On Saturday night, Iran executed a missile and drone strike targeting a strategic site near Haifa, Israel. This assault reportedly resulted in four fatalities and numerous injuries, triggering sirens throughout the nation. Among the ballistic missiles fired, one hit Tamra, an Arab city situated to the east of Haifa, as reported by local media.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that this missile barrage was part of their operation dubbed "True Promise III." The initial attacks occurred early Sunday morning, leading Israel to issue shelter alerts to its citizens. In response, Israeli military forces were mobilized to intercept the incoming threats.

On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced via social media that they had conducted a series of airstrikes on significant sites in Tehran associated with Iran's nuclear program. The targeted locations included the Iranian Ministry of Defense and the headquarters of the SPND nuclear initiative, among other facilities linked to Iran's nuclear ambitions.

Following the airstrikes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that Israel is committed to defending "freedom" across the Middle East and beyond. Concurrently, the IDF reported a substantial airstrike in Yemen aimed at eliminating a high-ranking Houthi military figure. The targeted individual, Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari, was reportedly the focus of this operation, although the IDF has not yet released an official statement regarding this incident.
