Errol Musk's Admiration for India's Leadership

On Monday, Errol Musk, the father of Tesla's CEO Elon Musk, expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, labeling him as one of the top leaders globally. He stated, 'I think he’s a fantastic leader, one of the best leaders in the world at the moment.'

Discussing India's position in global geopolitics, Musk remarked, 'India is a sleeping giant, there’s no doubt about it. With a GDP ranking among the top three or four worldwide, it’s truly remarkable. India is undoubtedly a world power. I find it terrific because the Indian people are very loving and welcoming, which is the kind of attitude we want in a significant global power.'

Cultural Insights and Historical Appreciation

Errol Musk also shared his thoughts on India's rich cultural heritage and spirituality, expressing a desire to visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He noted, 'I have a humble appreciation for India’s incredible history. The world’s history can be traced back to India at some point, with ancient texts like the Vedas dating back 14,000 years or more. India has experienced lost civilizations, and some Vedas even reference flying vehicles. I possess those Vedas and have written a book that includes stories about India, Kashmir, and Delhi. India is undeniably a fascinating place.'

Tesla's Potential Entry into the Indian Market

When questioned about Tesla's plans to enter the Indian market, Musk replied cautiously, 'I have to be careful not to say too much. Tesla is a public company, and it’s not just ours. Considering India’s population and the vibrant energy here, I wonder why Teslas aren’t available yet, especially with competitors like BYD and Tata making strides in the automotive sector. However, I can’t elaborate too much on this; it’s just my personal opinion.'
