The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced an extension for employees regarding the activation of their Universal Account Number (UAN). The new deadline for activating the UAN under the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme is now set for June 30, 2025.

In a circular dated May 30, the EPFO stated, “Please refer to the circulars mentioned under references. In this connection, the competent authority has granted an extension of timeline for UAN Activation and AADHAAR seeding in Bank Account till 30th JUNE, 2025.” Initially, the deadline was November 30, 2024, but it has been extended several times since then.
