As the 33rd anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition approaches, Mathura in Uttar Pradesh has implemented stringent security measures. The Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Eidgah mosque area has been designated as a high-security zone. According to a senior official, thorough security checks are being conducted at various locations throughout the city, with police forces on high alert to prevent any untoward incidents.
In a conversation with local media, Mathura's Superintendent of Police (Crime), Avneesh Mishra, stated that individuals attempting to enter without proper identification or permission are being closely monitored. The police are fully prepared, with adequate personnel deployed, similar to previous years. Continuous checks are being carried out, and all received information is being verified. Traffic flow remains unaffected.
Schoolchildren are attending classes as usual, and there have been no alterations to traffic patterns. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar confirmed that flag marches and thorough inspections are taking place at all significant locations. Preparations for December 6 are complete, with a robust police presence, including local and external forces, PAC, and RAF, ensuring safety across the area.

Flag marches are being conducted at all critical sites to maintain a strong police presence. Intensive checks are being carried out at major points, important routes, and in collaboration with local representatives, hotels, inns, restaurants, bus stations, and railway stations. Vehicles are also subject to inspection.
