Celebrating Women's Empowerment in Jaipur


Jaipur. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the 'Nari Shakti for Developed India Run' was organized by My Bharat Rajasthan on Friday in Jaipur. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Manju Baghmar, the Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Child Rights, and Public Works Department of the Rajasthan government.


During the event, Dr. Baghmar emphasized that women are being politically empowered through a 33% reservation from the panchayat level to parliament. She stated that significant changes are on the horizon for women, who will now play a role in policy-making alongside social, educational, and economic empowerment.

Devendra Kumar Vyas, the director of My Bharat Rajasthan, mentioned that the primary goal of this initiative is to honor women's strength and realize the vision of a 'Developed India.' The central theme of the event is #NariShaktiVandan.

This event aims not only to promote the message of a Fit India but also to highlight the crucial role of women in nation-building. Notable attendees included former MLA Alka Gurjar, former mayor Kusum Yadav, Asian Games 2022 gold medalist Nidhi Sharma, Commonwealth Games 2022 bronze medalist Pooja, and World Police and Fire Games 2025 gold medalist Kachnar Chaudhary. The 'Nari Shakti for Developed India Run' commenced from Chandpole and concluded at Badi Chaupar, attracting a large number of young women and girls. Additionally, there were selfie booths and a signature wall at the venue where participants engaged in activities.
