Celebrating Women's Empowerment Through a Unique Run

On Friday, a significant event titled ‘Nari Shakti for Developed India Run’ took place, aimed at promoting women's empowerment and raising awareness about the vision of a 'Developed India.' A large number of women participated in this initiative.


This event was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports under the banner of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat.’ The run covered a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometers, starting from Chandpole and concluding at Badi Chaupar.


Women from various sectors, including students, entrepreneurs, and athletes, enthusiastically took part. The event was flagged off by Rajasthan Minister Manju Baghmar and former MLA Alka Gurjar. Former Mayor Kusum Yadav and several other prominent women were also present at the occasion.


Notable participants included Pooja Sihag, a bronze medalist from the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and Kachnar Chaudhary, a gold medalist from the ‘World Police and Fire Games 2025.’ Devendra Kumar Vyas, the state director of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat,’ stated that the initiative aimed to promote the ‘Fit India’ message while highlighting the crucial role of women in nation-building.
