The Masrehr branch of the Kangra Central Cooperative Bank recently held a one-day Digital Financial Literacy Camp in Dhagwar village, with support from NABARD.


Amit Kumar, the Branch Manager, provided insights to local residents regarding various government and banking initiatives designed to enhance financial inclusion. Attendees received comprehensive information about the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, and the Jan Dhan Account Scheme.


During the event, villagers were cautioned against sharing their ATM PINs, OTPs, or any banking information with others to maintain their financial security. The session wrapped up with a call for all villagers to engage with the bank and fully utilize these advantageous schemes.
