NSS Sensitisation Programme at RDWU


Bhubaneswar: A dedicated sensitisation programme was organized by the NSS Bureau at Rama Devi Women’s University (RDWU) on Tuesday, targeting NSS Programme Officers from various affiliated colleges throughout Odisha.


This initiative, held on the university grounds, sought to enhance the knowledge and effectiveness of NSS officers in their community service roles.


The event commenced with a welcoming speech from NSS programme coordinator Aliva Mohanty, who emphasized the vital contribution of NSS to nation-building.


Chandicharan Rath, the Vice-Chancellor-in-Charge, presided over the session, while the chief guest, Deputy Secretary and State NSS Officer Ramesh Chandra Behera, underscored the significance of the NSS scheme.


He remarked, “NSS fosters social responsibility and cultivates human values among students. The role of Programme Officers is essential in transforming these principles into meaningful actions at the grassroots level.”
