Flight Operations Resume

New Delhi, March 7: Emirates Airlines has restarted its flight services after a brief suspension due to safety issues at Dubai International Airport, as announced on Saturday via social media.

In a recent update on the platform X, the airline confirmed that passengers with confirmed reservations for flights later in the day are now welcome to head to the airport.

This advisory also extends to travelers transiting through Dubai, provided their connecting flights are operating as planned.

The airline clarified, “Our earlier post from 11:08 AM Dubai time regarding operational status is outdated and has been removed to prevent confusion.”

It further stated, “Passengers with confirmed bookings for this afternoon’s flights may proceed to the airport, including those transiting in Dubai if their connecting flight is also on schedule.”

Emirates encouraged travelers to verify their flight status and seat availability through official channels before arriving at the airport to ensure their flights are running as expected.

The airline is actively monitoring the situation and will adjust its operational schedule as necessary.

“Emirates continues to keep a close eye on the situation, and we will adapt our operational schedule accordingly,” the airline mentioned.

They expressed gratitude to customers for their understanding and patience, emphasizing that the safety of passengers and crew is their utmost priority.

Earlier in the day, Emirates had announced a temporary halt to all flights to and from Dubai until further notice, advising passengers against traveling to the airport during the suspension.

In that initial communication, the airline promised to provide updates as more information became available, reiterating that the safety of passengers and crew is paramount.

However, this earlier post has since been deleted to avoid further confusion among travelers.
