New Delhi: Emirates Airlines has announced a temporary suspension of all flights to and from Dubai, effective immediately, and has advised travelers to refrain from heading to the airport during this period.
In a message shared on X, the airline indicated that updates will be provided as more information becomes available, emphasizing that the safety of passengers and crew is their utmost concern.
The airline stated, “All flights to and from Dubai have been suspended until further notice. Please do not go to the airport.”
Emirates reassured customers that the safety of everyone involved is their top priority and expressed gratitude for the understanding and patience shown during this disruption.
Additionally, the airline has introduced flexible travel options for those impacted by the flight suspension.
Travelers with bookings from February 28 to March 31 will have the opportunity to modify their travel arrangements.
Passengers can rebook for travel on or before April 30 to their desired destinations.
Those who booked through travel agents are encouraged to reach out to their agents for assistance.
Customers who purchased tickets directly from Emirates can contact the airline's official support channels for help.
Refund requests are also available; customers who booked directly can use the airline’s refund form, while those who went through travel agents should consult their agents for processing refunds.
In the meantime, all city check-in services in Dubai have been temporarily suspended until further notice.
