Today, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Mukesh Repswal conducted a visit to Dalhousie to assess the preparations for the forthcoming Municipal Council elections. His inspection included a thorough examination of various polling stations, the strong room, the counting center, and other essential election-related arrangements.


Repswal instructed officials to implement all necessary actions to guarantee that the elections are held in a free, fair, and peaceful manner. He also reviewed the fundamental facilities at polling stations, which encompassed security measures, electricity supply, and access to drinking water.


The Deputy Commissioner highlighted that all preparations are being executed in strict accordance with the Election Commission's guidelines. He noted that officials and staff assigned to election duties have received explicit instructions to maintain coordination and ensure the electoral process runs smoothly.


Accompanying him during the inspection were Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil) Dalhousie Anil Bhardwaj, Tehsildar Ramesh Chauhan, along with other officers and staff.
