Tragic Incident in Bijnor District

In a tragic event on Thursday in Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, an elderly woman lost her life due to a dog attack while she was working in her field. This information was confirmed by local police.


According to Police Circle Officer Rajesh Solanki, the victim, identified as Munni Devi, aged 62, was alone planting rice in her field located in the village of Salawatanagar, within the Afzalgarh police jurisdiction. Suddenly, a pack of dogs attacked her.


Solanki reported that the dogs mauled Munni Devi, inflicting injuries all over her body. Although nearby villagers rushed to her aid upon hearing her cries and managed to scare the dogs away, it was too late, and she had already succumbed to her injuries. A post-mortem examination of her body has been conducted.
