Burglary in Pune: Elderly Man Targeted

In a shocking incident in Pune district, unknown assailants reportedly broke into a bungalow, tied up an elderly businessman, and made off with valuable items. This information was confirmed by local police.

The police reported that the incident occurred around 9 PM on Saturday in the Nigdi area of Pimpri-Chinchwad. Following the event, a police team was dispatched to the scene to investigate.

Shivaji Pawar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) for Pimpri-Chinchwad, stated on Saturday night that initial investigations revealed that three to four unidentified individuals entered the bungalow, restrained an elderly man, and searched the premises.

He added that it is suspected that the burglars fled with some valuable items, although authorities are still determining what was stolen from the residence. Another police official noted that the victim is a businessman, and the investigation is ongoing.
