Support for the Family of a Brave Martyr

Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is known for keeping his promises. He not only assists the people of Maharashtra but also extends his help to those in need across the country. Recently, he provided financial aid of ₹5 lakh to the family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who lost his life while saving tourists during a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, South Kashmir. In addition to this support, Shinde is also overseeing the reconstruction of the family home. It’s important to note that 20-year-old Syed Adil Hussain Shah, a pony ride operator, was the only local victim in the attack on April 22, where he bravely attempted to rescue tourists and even tried to disarm a terrorist before being shot.

Following the attack, Eknath Shinde traveled to Srinagar on April 23 to assist stranded tourists from Maharashtra. During this visit, he was inspired by Adil Hussain Shah's bravery and decided to help his family. Party workers delivered a cheque of ₹5 lakh to Adil's family in Pahalgam. Later, Deputy CM Shinde expressed his condolences to the family via video call, assuring them that both the government and society stand with them. He remarked that Adil's courage and humanity serve as an inspiration for the entire nation, and his sacrifice will not be forgotten. Shinde also pledged to assist in the reconstruction of Adil's dilapidated home, emphasizing that Syed Adil Hussain Shah demonstrated the strength of humanity in the face of terror, and the nation will always remember his martyrdom.

Currently, due to the assistance provided by Shinde, the reconstruction of Adil's home is progressing swiftly. Adil's brother, Naushad, expressed gratitude towards Eknath Shinde, noting that the pace of the reconstruction suggests their home will be ready soon. Additionally, Mohammad Shafi Magre, Vice President of the Shiv Sena's Kashmir unit, stated that the party has instructed that the work should be completed as quickly as possible to provide relief to Adil's family.
