Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra, who serves as the District and State President of the Congress OBC Department and is also the Chairman of the 20-Point Programme in Kangra, recently evaluated the ongoing cleaning and maintenance efforts in Zamanabad, Abdulapur, Pehga, and surrounding villages. Residents had expressed concerns regarding travel difficulties caused by blocked drains and excessive vegetation along the roads.

Mongra stated that the initiative was launched swiftly after villagers brought the issues to light, and he has instructed that the work be completed as soon as possible. He reiterated that the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh has consistently delivered on its commitments to the populace.

Emphasizing the government's efforts, Mongra mentioned that numerous schemes have been introduced in the Kangra constituency to ensure that vulnerable citizens receive necessary services. He also noted that, under the guidance of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, he is actively visiting villages to identify and address local challenges related to water supply, electricity, road conditions, and drainage systems, ensuring prompt resolutions.
