Effective Homemade Oil Recipe for Pain Relief
Homemade Oil for Pain Relief
To alleviate joint pain, back pain, arthritis, knee discomfort, and cervical pain, Ayurvedic practitioner Robin Sharma has shared a simple recipe for making an effective oil.
Dr. Robin Sharma posted this remedy on his Instagram account, explaining that this oil can be easily prepared at home. He claims that the oil acts like a magnet, drawing out pain. According to the Ayurvedic expert, this homemade oil can be used for massage to relieve discomfort from back pain, arthritis, sciatica, or cervical issues.
How to Prepare Pain-Relieving Oil
To create this oil, start by taking 100 grams of mustard oil in a pan. Next, add 2 whole garlic cloves, 10 grams of carom seeds, and 5 grams of mace to the oil. Cook these ingredients on low heat until the oil turns dark. Once properly cooked, strain the oil and store it in a bottle. This oil can be massaged onto the knees or back, providing relief wherever there is pain.
For massage, the oil can be warmed slightly. However, avoid overheating it, as this could burn the skin and cause blisters.
Maintain a Healthy Diet
Incorporate Anti-Inflammatory Foods: Include anti-inflammatory items in your diet that help alleviate pain. Eating these foods can assist in reducing discomfort.
Leafy Greens: Vegetables like spinach are rich in vitamins A, C, and K, which possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help lessen pain.
Berries and Cherries: These fruits are packed with antioxidants and provide polyphenols that can reduce pain and inflammation.
Nuts and Seeds: Incorporate nuts like walnuts, chia seeds, and flaxseeds into your meals for omega-3 fatty acids.
Fruits and Vegetables: Consuming a variety of fruits and vegetables provides vitamin C and healthy enzymes, which also help reduce inflammation.
