Chief Guest at Minjar Fair’s Third Cultural Evening

On July 28 and 29, Education Minister Rohit Thakur will embark on a two-day visit to the Chamba district. As per the official schedule provided by the department, he is set to arrive in Dalhousie on the afternoon of July 28, where he will conduct an inspection of the Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School.

Later that evening, at 6:00 PM, the minister will make his way to Chamba to serve as the chief guest at the third cultural evening of the International Minjar Fair 2026.

On the following day, July 29, at 11:00 AM, Rohit Thakur will lay the foundation stone for an additional building at the Government Senior Secondary School in Mangla. After this event, he will head to Hamirpur in the afternoon.
