EAM Jaishankar's Upcoming Trip

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is set to depart for a three-day trip to Singapore and China on Sunday.


According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Jaishankar will attend a conference of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin, China.


This visit marks Jaishankar's first trip to China since the military standoff along the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh in 2020, which strained relations between the two nations. The ministry also noted that in Singapore, Jaishankar will engage with his counterpart and other leaders.
