A Shocking Turn of Events in Kannauj

Recently, a new incident has emerged amidst a surge of conflicts between husbands and wives. In Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, a woman who had just been married a month ago attempted to elope with her lover while out with her husband.

When the husband pursued them, he was assaulted by the lover and his friends. The wife also created a scene on the highway, attracting a crowd for an extended period. This incident unfolded on Wednesday when the wife had accompanied her husband to collect her mark sheet.

A local man from Talgram police station shared that he had married a girl from a nearby village about a month ago. He had taken his wife on his bike to a college in Jasoda to pick up her mark sheet. The wife asked him to wait outside, claiming she would return shortly. However, he soon noticed her leaving in an e-rickshaw with another man. Upon chasing them down, he was attacked by the man and his friends, who allegedly stole his gold chain, ring, and ₹18,000. The wife also behaved inappropriately towards him.

The police arrived at the scene and managed to calm the situation. They took everyone to the station for further questioning. The victim has filed a complaint with the local police, who have promised to investigate the matter.

A Life-Threatening Attack in Amroha

In a separate incident in Amroha, a wife, in collusion with her lover, launched a deadly attack on her husband using a sharp weapon. After the assault, the attackers left the victim bleeding and fled with ₹24,000 in cash from the house. The police, upon receiving the report, rushed the injured man to a community health center. After initial treatment, doctors referred him to a higher center due to his serious condition. Authorities are currently investigating the case and searching for the suspects.
