A Shocking Turn of Events in Kannauj

Recently, a new incident has emerged amidst the rising number of marital conflicts. In Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, a woman who had been married just a month earlier attempted to elope with her lover while out with her husband.

When her husband caught up with them, the lover and his friends assaulted him. The wife also created a scene on the highway, attracting a crowd for quite some time. This incident unfolded on Wednesday when the wife had accompanied her husband to collect her mark sheet.

A local man from Talgram police station shared that he had married a girl from a nearby village about a month ago. They were on their way to a college in Jasoda to pick up her mark sheet when the wife asked him to wait outside, claiming she would be right back. Shortly after, he noticed her leaving in an e-rickshaw with another man. Upon chasing them down, he was attacked by the man and his friends, who allegedly stole his gold chain, ring, and ₹18,000. The wife also behaved inappropriately towards him.

The police arrived at the scene to de-escalate the situation and took everyone to the station. The victim has filed a complaint with the local police, who have promised to investigate the matter.

Another Attack in Amroha

In a separate incident in Amroha, a wife, in collusion with her lover, launched a deadly attack on her husband using a sharp weapon. After the assault, they left him bleeding and fled with ₹24,000 in cash from the house. The police, upon receiving the report, rushed the injured man to a community health center. After initial treatment, doctors referred him to a higher center due to his serious condition. Authorities are currently investigating the case and searching for the suspects.
