The incident occurred at a hotel on the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway. Reports indicate that the woman, a resident of the Kandhla area, was involved with a young man from her village. Her in-laws had already been informed about this relationship. On Wednesday afternoon, the woman arrived at the hotel with her lover and booked a room. Upon learning this, her in-laws rushed to the hotel and notified the police.

With police present, the door to the room was opened, revealing the couple in a compromising situation. This enraged the woman's relatives, who attempted to assault them, but the police intervened in time to control the situation. The woman's in-laws claim that the police released her and her boyfriend without proper questioning, stating that she left in a car with him.

While on the tower, he shouted for his marriage, creating a tense atmosphere. Upon receiving the news, the Kuthound police quickly arrived at the scene.
