Appointment of Dr. Neerja Madhav
Dr. Neerja Madhav, a renowned author and recipient of the prestigious Nari Shakti Award 2021, has been appointed as a member of a high-level committee established under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister. This committee has been formed to implement nationwide programs commemorating the 200th birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.
The announcement of her appointment was made by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in New Delhi. Dr. Madhav, who has gained national and international recognition for her literary contributions, has also been designated as a member of the Book Promotion Council under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Additionally, she has been appointed as a governing member of the Kabir Academy by the Uttar Pradesh government. Previously, she served as a trustee member of the National Book Trust (NBT) under the Government of India.
Her novels and stories are included in the curricula of various universities and state boards. Research on Dr. Neerja Madhav's literature is being conducted across universities throughout the country.
