Celebrating the History of Nagpur's Ghosh Pathak

Nagpur. During a ceremony held at the Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Mandir in Reshimbag, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, the Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, inaugurated a handwritten book titled 'Rashtra Swaraadhana,' which chronicles the history of the Nagpur Metropolitan Ghosh Pathak. He emphasized that the various musical instruments used by the Ghosh Dal, despite their different sounds, harmonize to create a unified rhythm among the volunteers. This fosters a sense of coordination and unity. When tasks are performed with genuine intent and dedication, the outcomes reflect this commitment, leading to the experience of truth, goodness, and beauty. The primary aim of the organization is to establish these values within society and the nation.

Significant Presence and Performances

Present at the event were Deepak Tamhashetivar, the Vidarbha region chief, co-chief Shridhar Gadge, and metropolitan chief Rajesh Loya. The Nagpur Ghosh musicians showcased various compositions and performances during the program.

The Essence of the Organization's Mission

Dr. Bhagwat stated that the purpose of all RSS programs is to cultivate values. The goal is to advance towards a quality life through the synergy of a strong body and a disciplined mind. In this context, the handwritten history of 'Rashtra Swaraadhana' holds immense significance. While time passes and tasks may become stagnant, it is crucial to maintain the original quality throughout. This book serves as a reminder of how we established our work under challenging circumstances and the objectives behind it. Even though volunteers may not be professional singers or musicians, their ability to present numerous compositions without notes astonishes many. However, performing miracles is not the aim of the organization; it happens naturally. The virtues of past volunteers resonate within these compositions. True emotion arises when musicians play with heartfelt intent. This should be seen not merely as a duty but as a matter connected to one's soul. The organization's goal is not to etch its name in golden letters, as the credit for this century-long journey belongs to the people, society, and the nation. To achieve the aim of uniting society, more organized and extensive efforts are necessary.

RSS as a Guiding Force for the Nation

He remarked that the progress of the RSS has not been due to anyone's favor nor has it been hindered by anyone's disfavor. It has been realized through the hard work of the volunteers. By embracing the RSS and striving to shape the nation according to its ideals, all volunteers have dedicated their utmost efforts, making the RSS a guiding force for the country. This year marks the centenary of the RSS. Rather than a celebration, it is an opportunity for introspection—remembering our ancestors while striving for greater advancement. Today's volunteers also bear the responsibility of evaluating the work of their predecessors and comparing themselves to them as they move forward. It is the duty of the current generation not only to preserve the work done by their ancestors but also to elevate it to a higher level.

The Connection Between Body and Mind

Those who aim to unite Hindu society must practice synchronizing their voices and steps. The Ghosh Dal operates alongside the physical department. The form of the body influences the mind, and the thoughts of the mind shape and direct the body. However, the reverse is also true; the practice of the body shapes the mind, which is a well-known and scientifically proven truth.
