A standout moment of the evening was the presentation of the Nayika Samman to Padma Shri Guru Geeta Mahalik, recognizing her lifelong dedication to promoting and elevating Odissi on a global scale. Additionally, Guru Satyaban Paschimakabata received the Nayika Kala Sadhaka Samman for his exceptional contributions to the arts.

Notable attendees included Guru Dr. Snehaprabha Samantray, Dr. Indira Dutta, Meetarani Biswal, Prof. Tara Prasanna Satpathy, and actress Lumraina Satpathy, who praised the festival's role in fostering classical dance and supporting emerging talent.

During the event, Guru Snehaprabha Samantray articulated that Odissi embodies 'a lived philosophy,' emphasizing the festival's importance in preserving traditions while promoting continuity.

The festival featured a carefully curated selection of performances that expressed themes of devotion, love, and feminine energy. It commenced with a Mangalacharan by the Angaraga Odissi Dance Institution, followed by soloist Abhipsa Pati's presentation of 'Dekhiba Para Asare,' which illustrated Krishna's divine love through expressive movements and rhythmic accuracy.

A group performance by Padamrita Dance Academy explored the theme of Parashakti, while a duet by Shraddhaswini Priyadarshini and Chandraprabha Dalai highlighted the subtleties of Nayika Bhava. Jagruti Cultural Academy showcased 'Jagajjanani,' celebrating maternal divinity, and the evening concluded with an energetic Sambalpuri folk dance, 'Sargi Phula.'

Each performance seamlessly integrated nritta, abhinaya, and natya, providing the audience with a rich cultural experience.

Conceptualized by Guru Snehaprabha Samantray and organized by Guru Smruti Puspa Panda, the festival reaffirmed Angaraga's dedication to the preservation and promotion of classical dance. The event was hosted by Biswajit Baliarsingh, with branding and communication overseen by Kiran Kavya.
