Dipika Kakkar Reveals Stage Two Liver Cancer Diagnosis in Emotional Vlog

In a heartfelt vlog, Dipika Kakkar and her husband Shoaib Ibrahim disclosed that Dipika has been diagnosed with stage two liver cancer. The couple expressed their emotions, describing this period as the most challenging of their lives. Previously, Dipika had shared that she has a tumor in the left lobe of her liver, which is comparable in size to a tennis ball.
Shoaib spoke about Dipika's condition, stating, "Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah, the scan results were clear. The virus or its cells have not spread to other parts of her body. The tumor is localized, and once it is surgically removed, Inshallah, we expect improvement. Currently, the doctors believe everything is manageable, but ultimately, only Allah knows what lies ahead."
Dipika added, "We are fully trusting the doctors and drawing strength from their assurance. Hearing the word 'cancer' is frightening for both the patient and their loved ones. However, we are remaining strong, keeping our faith, and hoping for a positive outcome."
Earlier, Shoaib had mentioned that Dipika was not feeling well, experiencing stomach issues that seemed serious. While he was in Chandigarh, she began to suffer from stomach pain, which they initially thought was due to acidity. However, when the pain persisted, she consulted their family doctor.
He explained, "The doctor prescribed antibiotics and recommended blood tests. She was on antibiotics until May 5th, and when I returned, she seemed to be recovering. However, after my father's birthday, she started feeling pain again, and the blood test results indicated an infection in her body."
Shoaib continued, "Our doctor advised us to return, and after a CT scan, we learned that Dipika has a tumor in the left lobe of her liver, which is quite large, similar to a tennis ball. This news was shocking for us."
Dipika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim tied the knot in 2018 after a few years of dating. They are also parents to a son named Ruhaan.
