Dipika Kakar's Health Journey

Dipika Kakar has raised concerns among her fans after announcing her stage two liver cancer diagnosis. Following a lengthy 14-hour surgery, she made her first public appearance in a vlog alongside her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim. During the vlog, Dipika expressed her emotions regarding her health and extended heartfelt gratitude to her supporters for their unwavering love during this challenging period.

In the vlog, she shared, "At this moment, I can only say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers. The hospital staff and nurses were incredibly supportive, assuring me that I would recover. Even the relatives of other patients were kind enough to say they were praying for me. These gestures mean a lot. I am feeling much better now and my recovery is going well."

Shoaib has been keeping their fans informed about Dipika's recovery. He mentioned, "The tumor was successfully removed, and the gallbladder was also taken out due to a stone. A small part of the liver was cut away because of the tumor, but there’s no need to worry as the liver can regenerate itself."

Dipika first revealed her diagnosis through an Instagram post, stating, "As many of you know, the past few weeks have been incredibly tough for us. I went to the hospital due to pain in my upper abdomen, only to discover a tumor the size of a tennis ball in my liver, which was diagnosed as second-stage malignant cancer. This has been one of the hardest times we've faced."

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim tied the knot in 2018 after a few years of dating. They are also proud parents to their son, Ruhaan.
