Dipika Kakar Hospitalized Due to Liver Tumor Diagnosis

Dipika Kakar has been hospitalized for the past three days after being diagnosed with a liver tumor. Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, a well-known actor, disclosed this information in a recent YouTube vlog, confirming that the tumor is located in the left lobe of her liver. Fortunately, a CT scan has shown that the tumor is non-cancerous, providing some relief to her fans.
In his vlog, Shoaib shared, “Dipika is not well; she has been experiencing stomach issues that are quite serious. While I was in Chandigarh, she began to feel pain in her stomach, which we initially thought was due to acidity. She treated it as such, but when the pain persisted, she consulted our family doctor, who has also treated our father.”
He continued, “The doctor prescribed antibiotics and recommended blood tests. She was on antibiotics until May 5th, and when I returned, she seemed to be improving. However, after my father's birthday, she started feeling pain again, and the blood test results indicated an infection in her body.”
Shoaib explained that upon visiting their doctor again, they were advised to undergo a CT scan, which revealed that Dipika has a tumor in her liver's left lobe, measuring approximately the size of a tennis ball. This news was shocking for both of them.
Previously, the couple had made headlines for their vacation in Kashmir just before the tragic Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. They faced criticism for discussing their vlog during such a sensitive time. However, Shoaib later expressed his condemnation of the attack, sharing how it profoundly impacted him.
He stated, “The tragic event in Kashmir has deeply affected me. We had just visited the area, admired its beauty, and met its wonderful people. Acts of terrorism cause suffering for all of humanity, and as Muslims, we feel an even greater sense of shame. I feel particularly ashamed because the perpetrators of this heinous act claimed to be Muslims. In my view, they are neither Muslims nor human beings. Taking innocent lives for personal gain is utterly cruel, and no religion or humanity can justify such actions.”
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are parents to a son named Ruhaan. The couple tied the knot in 2018 after dating for several years.
