Diljit Dosanjh's Exciting Role in Border 2
Diljit Dosanjh has officially joined the impressive ensemble of Border 2, currently filming its third schedule at the National Defence Academy in Pune.
He delighted his followers by sharing a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, which begins with him making his way to the set in the rain. He humorously remarks, 'The weather is quite witty, it’s drizzling.' Upon arriving, he quips, 'Messages come and go, and here we are on set.'
Due to the rain, the shooting faced some delays, allowing him to relax and enjoy the weather. He joked, 'Shooting is delayed because of this witty weather. I'm just enjoying it.' Later, he met with the cast and crew, sharing a positive update, 'Everyone—cast, producers, and director—has gathered in one place, let’s get started.'
Diljit was seen greeting fellow actors Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan, and later took a group photo with the entire team.

Sunny Deol later posted the group photo on Instagram to announce the new filming schedule, stating, 'When all ‘Forces’ come together! #BORDER2. Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty join Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan as the battalion begins the third schedule at Pune’s National Defence Academy!'
He added, 'On-site, they are joined by Producers Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, Director Anurag Singh, and Co-producers Shiv Chanana and Binoy Gandhi, as the film progresses rapidly! Save the date: Border 2 is set to release on January 23, 2026!'
In other news, Diljit recently unveiled the teaser for Sardaar Ji 3, where he appears as a ghost hunter, scheduled for release on June 27, 2025. Additionally, the trailer for Detective Sherdil has also been released, generating excitement among fans as Diljit takes on the role of a detective, diverging from his typical comedic characters alongside Diana Penty.
