Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School in Dharamshala is thrilled to announce that student Priya has earned the opportunity to represent the school at the state-level Under-19 badminton championship in Hamirpur.


During the recent district-level tournament held at Government Senior Secondary School, Kaliara, students Priya, Pragun, and Anshit showcased remarkable skills and performances. The school's Principal, Mrs. Meenakshi Gautam, expressed her pride in Priya’s accomplishment, highlighting it as a significant achievement for the institution. She recognized the students during a school assembly.


In addition to badminton, the school's athletes have also shone in various sports such as Kho-Kho, Chess, Weightlifting, and Wrestling, gaining accolades at both district and state levels. The Principal commended Physical Education teachers Mr. Rajat Kumar and Mr. Kapil Kumar for their efforts in encouraging student participation in sports and urged other students to be inspired by their peers' successes.
