The United India Sports Federation organized a National Sports Competition in Dharamshala from June 5 to June 7, 2026. The event concluded with a closing ceremony attended by Rajeev Bhardwaj as the chief guest and Sudhir Sharma as the special guest.


In the 55+ age category, local athletes showcased exceptional talent, earning numerous medals. Ramesh Muniyal achieved remarkable success by winning three gold medals in the 60-meter race, 100-meter race, and long jump events. In contrast, Sanjay Sauguni, the Principal of Rose Public School in Suliali, earned silver medals in all three events, demonstrating his impressive skills.


The chief guests presented medals to the winners and conveyed their best wishes for their future endeavors. They highlighted the importance of sports in promoting physical and mental growth, as well as fostering discipline, confidence, and a healthy lifestyle.
