Devotional Celebration in Dalhousie: Ramesh Kumar Launches New Bhajan

A Joyous Bhajan Release in Dalhousie

Today, Dalhousie Cantt was filled with devotion as the popular bhajan artist Ramesh Kumar, hailing from Banikhet in Chamba district, unveiled his latest bhajan titled “Mata Bhalei Baliyae Meri Laaj Bacha Lena” on YouTube.

The event was honored by the presence of Subhash Mahajan, a senior journalist and Chairman of the social group Beautiful and Green Dalhousie, who had the privilege of launching the bhajan by pressing the release button. Dr. Pallavi Sagar from the local hospital also attended as a special guest.

Upon their arrival, Ramesh Kumar greeted the dignitaries with floral bouquets and presented Mata’s chunri as a gesture of respect. In his speech, chief guest Subhash Mahajan commended the singer and lauded the bhajan's inspirational qualities, expressing hope that it would resonate with many.

Ramesh Kumar captivated the audience with a live performance of the bhajan. He is not only recognized for his bhajan singing but also as a folk and Pahari vocalist, having previously released numerous devotional and folk tracks on YouTube. His wife, Saroj, an ASHA worker and singer, has collaborated with him on various projects.

In his professional life, Ramesh Kumar works as a Laboratory Technician at the Dalhousie Cantonment Board Hospital. He dedicated his achievements to the blessings of his late father, Prithi Chand, and mother, Krishna Devi.

The event saw attendance from several notable personalities in Dalhousie Cantt, including Pandit Aman Sharma, Anil Mahajan, Advocate Chandrashekhar, Pradeep Sharma, Ranjit Suryavanshi, Ravi Kumar, Achal Kumar, Usha Kumari, Anjana Kumari, and Anju, among others.
